There's your answer. That boot is already torn, just a matter of time now...

front shaft seems to be first to crap out. mine went about 8000 miles with lift. back shaft has 32000 and shows no sign of wear.

Pic 2 is the tcase end of the rear driveshaft, right?

And it is spitting grease in a ring that you can see on the undercarriage? (or run your finger around that joint to double check)

This means that that boot is already torn and is losing all of its grease. When it dries out, it will start making noise and then fail dramatically while you are driving on the freeway...

Pic 3 is the front driveshaft, right? It still looks good for now. (to me anyway)

It is the rear of the front drive shaft. You can see the ring of grease in this picture.

My bad, I got the pics wrong. Yep, if that is the front shaft, and it is losing grease like that, it is the one you want to replace first.

That is what I had on the stock front shaft on my 4door, but I actually figured that the rear shaft would have the steeper angle on a 2door...

I think it's a case of the angle of the dangle thing. The way I was laying on the floor and holding the camera with my tounge hanging out of the right side of my mouth instead of the left that made it look odd ... Thanks
