Security Box (Diamond Plate)
I wanted to add a bit of security to the trunk for the topless season but I didn't want to go over the top. I looked into several truck security options many seemed either expensive or to be not too effective so I went with this.
I purchased a UWS Diamond plate toolbox 32x12x12, several L shaped brackets and hardware.
The rear of the truck has two clips that are fastened to the bed with a bolt. I simply removed the clips put the bolt through the L brackets and fastened it to the box. 4 brackets total, 2 each side, one within the box and one on the outside. I used bolts that require an allen key so its to super easy to remove. Not 100% safe but good enough to throw in items such as back packs, tow straps and whatever you don't want flying around in the wind.

Pretty much what I did, as I did not like the Tuffy Security deck I had installed. Except I mounted mine over the rear seat brackets, cut two holes in the bottom of the box and used to adj. bolt to hold in place. Will take pics when I get home and it is light.

Just an update to secure a tool box in the back, that is if you do not need the rear seat. It takes longer to empty the box than it does to put in or remove.
