Default Seat Covers w/ Side Air Bags

I have an 08 4 door with side air bags. Has anyone found a seat cover that works with the air bags? Also, did it include a cover for the center console top?

The Wet Okole covers work with the airbags. But, when you order them you have to specify that.

I see there are a few threads that have discussed this in detail. Here is what I found if anyone wants to comment:

If money is no object (as it appears to be for some) then the Wet Okoles are the best neoprene covers. I have a set of those myself on another vehicle and they are good quality. However, to cover front and rear of the JK is about $600 (ouch). They even sent me samples after I placed my order to tell me my color choices would look goofy (they were right so I changed it).

If money is an important factor, the Seat Glovers are good but could have quality control issues and probably aren't as high quality material although they are 1/2 the cost for the front and rears. It also sounds like the Seat Glovers is a CoverKing product that is re-branded and is available elsewhere for varying cost. I just checked 4wd Hardware and see they have incentives for Smitybilt covers which, from what I have read here, are the same covers.

Nobody seems to make a cover for the center console right now to match the seats.

Sound like a good summary?

Smitybilt covers suck, i got them and don't recommend them. Some of the seams tore as I was putting them on, and one of the buckles broke. :( had to hand sew two places back together, was a pain in the butt.

i agree--you'll be happy with the wet okoles. ask for airbag flaps. you pay & wait a little more for the okoles but VERY happy VERY worth it..

Cover King
Smittybilt
Rugged Ridge

All have side airbag flaps standard. They're actually all the exact same covers. Good covers for a lot less than the others.

You can send them back for replacement. That's what I did when mine showed up with bad stitching.

For the cost, I can't complain. They've held up quite well over the last year.

4 Wheel Drive Hardware has the Smittybilts in stock, the quality has greatly improved, with the Neoprene now getting a UV rating of 4 out of 5. Also the stitching has improved. Right now I am offering them buy the front pair and get the rear cover free.
