Default Safari tops?

One question with the safari tops. I am about to buy one, do you have to use the plastic pieces on the side of the roll bars to install one or will it tie directly to the roll bar along the side.

You don't have to have them, but your doors won't be waterproof.... Take you top off, shut your door, and that is the gap.

no,, but you mave have to move them a little if the straps hit them.
the Bestop safari will work both ways, but I like to take the door frames off. Not worried about being waterproof as I have the mesh one to help with the Texas sun

Talking yep.

I have the bikini on, and a grab bar on the passenger side...
No word on the flash light, but there isn't a strap that I can think of that attaches to the middle of the front rollbars.

If you use the velcro straps alone you will have major flapping issues. I use the plastics. The safari top doesnt hang over the edge of the sides as much so it actually funnels water right into the jeep.

No flapping issues here, but like I said, I have the mesh one
