I went with the RC 4" lift (bought in jan/feb I think..) so I don't have much time with it but it's been perfect as can be since I installed it. I don't have any experience with Rusty, so I can't say anything for/against them. The 4" lift looks perfect I think with my 35 MTRs.

I run the RC 2.5 inch lift. I've had it for about 10 months. Can't speak for Rusty's but I really like my lift. It is a little firmer than stock, but by no means stiff. Improved handling for the daily stuff, and does everything I would expect it to off road. I've put it through its paces and would recommend RC to anyone that asked for my opinion. Only complaint is that I wish I had gone bigger,

I just got the Rustys 3.25 Basic kit 3 weeks ago, install was easy and it rides great on 35s with pleanty of roon. I actually got 4 inches of lift out of it (2 door).
Plus Rustys Offroad is local for me, I called them, and they had my stuff ready and waiting when i got there!!!!

4 in concerns me. I really don't want to deal with drive shaft issues. I've got an auto. Any problems for the two door. Money money money. I wish it weren't an issue but it definitely is.

I put a Rusty's 2'' Coil kit on my 2 door JK. I think it sat closer to 3'' when it went on, and settled down to around 2.5''. Great lift kit, especially for the money. One of my rear shock bushings has wallowed out a bit, but I don't think that reflects bad on Rusty's shocks themselves, and it's hardly a difficult fix. It's not causing any problems so I haven't gotten around to fixing it yet . It's held up great and I love the ride over stock. I would definatly buy again.
I should add, that I did have the front driveshaft puke it's grease about 10,000 miles after I put on the lift. My dealer (incredibly) replaced it under warranty. That was around 20,000 miles ago and it didn't happen again. I know have ~30,000 miles on the rear driveshaft post-lift with no issues.

I'm sure Rusty's is great, just by the reviews and obviously because it costs more. I'm 100% happy with my RC 3.5" Series II Lift, Got about 4" total out of it, but I run stock bumpers and no winch yet. It rides great, and couldn't ask for more. I have always liked Rough Country's price point for what you get and how well they take care of their customers.
To each their own, I don't think you could go wrong either way.
