Default Rusting Pro Comp wheels

Looks like the winter took a toll on the Pro Comp wheels and they're starting to rust.

I'm going to take the wheels off over the weekend and get at the rust before it gets bad.

Any tips before I go at it? Going to sand the wheel, prime & paint. But i'm not entire sure what paint to use that will hold up better to rust?

I've used dupli paint on 3 cars which were alloy wheels & had great results but i'm thinking i'll need something a little more 'heavy duty'.

Anyone here had this problem with their steel wheels? tips?
