Running JKU Mopar Sunbonnet all summer
With spring approaching, I am starting to think about different top options for my JK(I have just hardtop)
I am considering leaving hard top off and switching to a Bikini top for the late spring/summer and wondering how much water gets in if it rains.(I would get moar soft top style with door surrounds) I keep my jeep in a garage at home but it is outside at work. If I just have this on and it rains at work will the back seats get soaked? I figure the cargo area I could pull the drain plug or run a cover over it.
The other option I am considering is a sunshade to leave under the top for shade and to just take top off on nice days.(more of a pain and no rain protection but big money savings)

i bought the mopar sunbonnet for the same reason. haven't put it on yet, but i'm sure if it rains water will get in the jeep. i have a 4 door with hard doors, but the sunbonnet stops at the rear overhead roll bar leaving the back area exposed. i bought a pavement ends emergency top for when it rains. it's lightweight and takes up no room in the jeep and you can drive home with it slowly. i haven't tried it on yet either. so no real experience with either yet.
