Running 37s with a 35in spare
I am so on the fence about the 35s vs 37s thing. I have been looking at the Rampage rear bumper but they don't make a swingaway tire carrier. Honest opinions and flame away if you choose, but what If I ran 37s on the ground and a 35 for the spare. Rims and tires would all be same brand and style.
Is anyone else doing this? Rampage says you can get a 37 on the new mount they sell which moves your tire up and out but I know that is alot of weight and leverage.

A smaller diameter spare tire could also cause ESP issues if you had to use it. The wheel speed sensors would sense different speeds and possibly apply the brakes to the others to compensate. This is just speculation though...

I happened to have the Toyo spec sheet on my desktop...
35 x 12.5 x 17 = 83lbs
37 x 13.5 x 17 = 93lbs
(The Toyo doesnt come in 12.5 in a 37)
So depending on if you're running a steel or aluminum wheel, we're talking ~110lbs vs ~120lbs total. I dont think that's a "load" more or a "joke" to say they are close in weight, though I myself am concerned about putting a 37" or even 35" on the stock carrier. Sure it will work but for how long...
