I like my XHD base bumper. Apart from tiny hard to thread fog light screws/nuts, it seems like a good setup. I am just glad I didn't pick out any ends yet. Please keep up updated, I really want some of the storage ends.

I have this bumper but w/o end caps. Fog light nuts are difficult due to the small size. I cross threaded one and broke it right off w/o much force. Be careful with this step. 3 will hold just fine I guess. Also purchase a winch carefully. I have the Smitty 8000 and it barely fit. In fact I had to "rig" the fair lead to make it work.

No pics handy but I can tell you what I had to do. The lead is held on by two bolts with nut, washer and lock washer. I had to put the washers on the bolt head side to make room for the winch. Not ideal but the lead does not take a beating like other components so I do not think it will be an issue. I will just check tightness once and a while. Doing this made just enough room for the winch. Only a playing card fits between nut and winch.

XHD installed
So I finnaly got to put on my new bumper and what can I say its looks pretty sweet. I finally managed to get the locking storage ends to work properly. It turns out the seal was the issue. both ends are on locked and resistant to the outside elements.
