Rugged Ridge XHD storage endcaps or regular endcaps?
I'm planning on ordering the RR XHD winch bumper w/ the stinger, and I am trying to decide if I want to get the normal or storage end caps. I'm not really sure what I would put in them, but in my 2 door, storage space is valuable. Has anyone used their storage end caps or have any ideas for what could be stored in them?

FYI.... In the near future we will have new stubby ends for the XHD...
In other words get the standard bumper for now and see what you might like for later.
The new ends will give a more finished look to the standard stubby bumper. These ends will also work on all XHD's regardless of when they were sold.
NO.... NO images at this time. Will release them closer to the time they are ready to be sold.
They should be ready by the end of the summer.

I went with the non-storage type. My guess is that the storage ones are not water/mud/dirt proof so anything you put in there will likely rust or rot.
IMO, Like the trimmer look of the non-storage ones as well.
Either way, love my XHD bumper!!!

I have the storage ends and everything has been fine in there so far. I would say they are mud and water proof to the point of submersion. I have not gotten in that deep.....yet

I have the storage end and like them , as stated above they are water tight unless you go under ( a lip sticks up about a half inch or so and has rubber seal ) as far as what fits I have the following in mine : winch controller , snatch block , 2 tow straps 2 extra "D" rings with a little room left over
