Newb here...
Quick run down. Just got my 1st Jeep and am low in funds right now for any dream mods. My front bumper was recently dinged, therefore giving me somewhat of an excuse for my first mod.
Basically, I want to replace the front with the above mentioned style bumper. The only drawback is that my jeep is bone stock and i'm looking to gather some opinions on the look of an aftermarket bumber on stock, no lift, org 17" rims/whls..
I've attached an attemp at a before/after photoshop....your opinion is appreciated.

When I get home I'll put up some photos for you
You get a great bumper for a low price you won't regret it. Plus it's modular so you can change up the look as you see fit

I have done a lot of research and this is a great all around bumper with a bunch of changable options and the weight should not affect the front end.

I run a 8500lb super winch it bolted directly in no problems. It will fit any winch I'm sure

I installed the RR XHD Winch bumper yesterday, THis is what I did before I installed it.
I took a stock measurement to the front fender left tire... 31 5/8. I then stood on the bumper 200lbs, measured 30 1/2 = 1 1/8" sag, then my friend at 170lbs stood on the bumper,,, 30 3/4" - 7/8" sag, then his wife ~130lbs, 31" = 5/8" sag.
My winch is said to weigh 60lbs,, Recon 10500lb w/synthetic rode, the bumper I didn't weight it before.. total sag 5/8" thus about 130lbs.. I still have a the basic hoop to install which shouldn't do much more to it. Not in yet.
The stock bumper might be 20lbs at most.
I have since recentered the Winch..
no rope, had to send it back...
it took about 1hr to remove the stock bumper and 2 1/2hrs to install the new one. I had my friend helping with the install, so add another hr maybe if alone. a few of the bolts are alot harder to get on and tighten with only one. I'm not a big mechanic and this was very easy to do.... so if you have a friend and you have everything ready figure 3 hrs,, maybe 3.5hrs,,
I am not sure if I'm putting on end caps. if I do it will be the storage ones.
first major mod!
also personally if upgrading the bumper I would go with a winch mount, just to have the winch opinion easy to install later.

I've read that the rear XHD bumper w/ the tire carrier is a POS and rattles a lot. Is this true? I've seen a couple of off handed remarks like this, so I'd appreciate any feedback. I was all set to order up XHD bumpers and I read those posts. Now I'm all

just a heads up to anyone getting the rugged ridge xhd stubby, install your winch first on the bumper then put it on the jeep and make sure you mount your winch in the right holes on the winch plate. This will make life alot easier. I made this mistake, and wish I had known I love it too!
