Rugged Ridge Sidestep bars.. (or something else?)
Anyone know if these will work on an 08 Wrangler Unlimited without issue?
It says for the 07 but I doubt there's any difference for rail installation on the 08. But if anyone knows better, please tell me.

Secondly, I like the ruggedness and basic look of these types of "steps" and "armor" on Jeeps. That said, is there another type that someone would recommend?
I currently have no steps on my Wrangler Unlimited and my wife has told me that if I ever want to lift it, I HAVE to get some kind of step for her to be able to get in. (She's 5'6" and I'm 6'6")
Also, the Jeep is Steel Blue. I think the gloss black would look good against it, (the silver too "bling-bling") but if anyone has photos of their Wrangler Unlim's with these types of rails on them, it'd be appreciated to see.

I have those exact same bars on my '08 Unlimited and they have worked out great. I installed them in about 2 to 3 hours with basic tools, and best of all no drilling is needed.
For the price I can think of no other steps I would rather own. I don't have any pics right now, but I will try to get some up this evening.

I have a set of the stainless and would not consider them armour at all. The fiancee thinks they are a tad on the thin side. She was expecting a slightly wider foot grip. I'll likely be taking them off tomorrow (2-door).
They were cheap though.

the rails i posted are plenty strong enough. I have the 2dr version on my Jeep. I was the "test" Jeep. I have put them over a lot of rocks sometimes supporting the weight of the back half of the vehicle and they have yet to bend into the body. I was doubtful at firt with just two mounting points but they are solid so far.
