I got a set for my 08 Unlimited. I have all of the holes, but they didn't line up correctly. They are about 1/4" short and you can't stretch metal! I called RR and they were friendly, but not helpful. I'm pretty frustrated. Now to be fair, I do have a Daystar 1" body lift on which comes with bolt extenders for the body mount through bolts. I finally got one side on, but had to undo all of the body mount bolts, jack the body up, remove the two body mounts that the armor bolts to and bend the bolts in a little. After I did all of that, I couldn't get the middle bolt back in. CRAP!!! I think they are just a bit off. I really think that the 08 specs may be a bit different than 07, but I can't understand why Jeep would make the body bolts another 1/4 apart from 07. What would be the point?

Anyone have THIS issue?

the specs for 08 ARE different than 07. I was the guinea pig for RR on these steps when my Xmas present did not fit, so I should know -this after being told by quadratec that they should fit fine and 'no one else has had this problem'. I had to send pics to PROVE they were way off.

It's too late for me to return them - I did ask when I first got them, but no answer and since RR was working on it I just let it be. Hopefully they will fit, as I have a stock 08 two door, which is what they tried it on for me.

I intsalled Mine today no problems what so ever. One hint i have for people that say they dont line up. Take the double stick tack off the Bottom of your jeep they reveals Holes that you use to mount to. took 2 hours. 1 hour and 30 minutes one side and 30 minutes the nexts

Might be because you have a 4 door. The 2 doors do NOT use the holes with the sticky tape anymore - they are WAY off. RR has come up with a procedure to use different mounting holes, but afaik this is two door '08 only.

I have the 4 door and the RR 4" oval steps. The hole that is covered by the sticky tape seems to be about 1/4" off. Did you have any issues with that?

I have a 2009 and I was looking at those steps for ny jeep. It is a four door too. Do you or does anyone elseknow if these work on the 2009? Also do they seem to help with mud and rocks hitting the doors? The gravel roads around here are killing my hinges and doors with little rock pecks.
