I'm interested in those Smittybilt SRC side armor also. Only thing is that I called 4wd.com and the person on the phone said they won't be available till later this year.

How are the Smittybilt SRC side armor attached? Any drilling to be done or just a direct bolt on.

From what little info I've found about the Smittybilt, they are direct bolt on. I emailed Smittybilt directly and they responded saying they will be available till summer. Not very specific for time frame but at least somewhat of an idea on availability.

I went out to 4Wheel Drive Hardware's showroom 2 weeks ago to buy a set of rocker gaurds. The only thing they had in stock for a JK was the mopar nerf bars. The told me they had 30 sets of the Smittybilt side armor due in on the 14th of May, so I purchased a set of them . When I called today to check if they were in, 4WD told my they did not expect them in untill mid June! It sounds like you'll be waiting untill the end of summer for either one of these rocker gaurds. Better learn to weld in the mean time.
