rugged ridge rocker rails on 2012 rubicon question.
I had a 2007 unlimited x that I just upgraded to a 2012 unlimited rubicon. I took the rugged ridge rocker rails off the 2007 x to put on the 2012 rubicon. The rugged ridge rocker rails now hit the stock rubicon rocker rails overtime I go over a bump. No harm to the vehicle but it sounds really bad when I'm driving. I was going to remove the stock rocker rails but I like the look of both rails on. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Should I weld a small spacer between the rails? Or will they move independently of each other?

The ace rails do look nice but I kinda just want to make my rr ones work. Will I do any harm if I weld the rr rails to the stock rubicon rails? Will they want to flex in different directions if the rubicon rails are mounted to the body and the rr rails are mounted to the body mounts?
