Therugged ridge bumper does not use the crush cans. You can keep them to sort assorted, found, or extra screws & bolts.

The crush cans come off. They are attached to the metal support of the plastic bumper.

4 nuts on the back of each side of the stock bumper. (2 on each side of each frame rail. 4 spacers behind thos 4 nuts.) disconnect whatever wires may be there. and toss the stock bumper Kaber style across the front yard and extra points for landing it in the recycle bin.

Never look back.

Your Jeep will be much happier.

Just be patient with it, especially if you are using hand tools. The threaded nuts were a pain in my ass.
