Thanks for all the info. I honestly thought it would be a real quick mod. The combination of it only being 5 degree's outside and trying to quit smoking got me pretty

The rubber mallet with the longer screw worked great. The passenger mirror was useless until I went to harbor freight and got some circular blind spot mirrors and stuck them on. Now it works great. Honestly I really didn't care just wanted to get them off my doors.
