Default Rugged Ridge hood vents

I wanted to make my lifted 2016 2 door Sport S with 35” look a little cooler so I thought I would install some vents in the hood. I figured it will look nice and maybe help dissipate the heat of the engine a little as well help with hood flutter. Anyone own the Rugged Ridge hood vents?

I can't speak to those vents in particular, but I have a PSC hood louver. I'm sure ventilation helps the general engine bay a tiny bit, but don't expect any miracles. As you know, mainly for looks, which are all subjective.

Thanks for the reply! The PSC hood louver is awesome, but was a little too expensive right now because I’ve been spending money on this Jeep like there’s no tomorrow.👍

It never ends. I'm 6.5 years in to mine, and it's still soaking up the upgrades.

That's my bucket of bolts. Got new BBK with MC/booster and a Red Neck Ram (hydro assist steering) this last week. Oh, and BedRug carpet. I saved up a long time for this big round of upgrades. Slush fund ain't what she used to be.

Just installed the Fox 2.0 performance shocks and also changed the factory six speed shifter with the B&M short shifter and the B&M stick. Also just put in the Windbooster 2S throttle pedal control device and been using the Sport+ mode turned all the way up and loving it. I installed a catback borla exhaust with touring muffler and dual exits and a cold air intake, now you can really hear it rev.

If you want I make a list of all my upgrades. It’s not as impressive as yours but it pretty nice. By the way your Jeep it freaking sweet! I’m a little jealous.
