Rugged Ridge Evap Skid Plate
Has anyone installed the RR Evap Skid Plate? I have the bumpers and sway bar skid and they seem really solid. Always good to ask first!

Most people fear that relocating it will cause issues with their stealerships and warranty work. I asked my stealership and they said that if I had an issue after relocating, repairs would be on my dime... Sucks but that is the way it is...
I just ordered the PSC Evap skid...

Does the "why not relocate it" question HAVE to come up on every skid thread? 
Those that know of skids I am sure know of the relocation by just being on this forum for a brief period. Any searched skid thread has the relocate debate in it.

The RR was $79 with the sale 4WD is having with free shipping. If it is anything like the Sway bar skid, it should be solid enough, and yes, the warranty issues...

Above that, relocating gives you A LOT more ground clearance than 3/4". PLUS, you can now relocate your OEM muffler from the HORRIBLE location on the rear to the new location above the frame rails. So, even more benfit to relocating.
But what do I know...

Hey, it's OK. I have contemplated the relo vs. skid plenty. Made up my mind for now. No major offroading right now. The RR won't break the bank, and will be better than not doing anything.

I have the RR Evap Skid, it was a easy install. I have never hit the skid. But the protection gives me a little more comfort.
I also saw GoodysGotCuda PSC skid it is very well thought out and is s sweet package. I would say if you have 4+ of lift just do the cheaper route. If you are below that the PSC set up is solid. But so is the RR. Not sure what Iam saying but they ar both nice setups.
