Default rugged ridge differential skid plate install ??????

the directions say when installing this ,that by taking off bolts you may lose the seal,and it could be a problem?? can i just bolt this on my front and rear diffs? or do i have to worry about seals,leaks ,ect ??

If I were you , I'd get some rtv and use this time to change your diff oil and clean and inspect the inside of your housing, then re-install and add your skids. You will break the seal if you try to install with them filled with oil. So, you'll have to drain the oil and replace anyway, might aswell do a good job and clean the inside of any shavings while your at it.

The advice that mkjeep gave is good advise. It is easy to get the smallest cracks in the seal and you will end up redoing everything anyway. There are a few good write up on this with photos to help you along.
