Default Rubicon JKU 10A spring swap to a Stock JK

Has anyone else swapped the JK (2 door) 14/54 springs with the Rubicon JKU 10A w/ tow package springs (006AA/ 009AA) and seen a great difference in tire clearance?

Moving to any coil number over what you have will give you an increase in tire clearance. You could be looking at 2" with the difference in numbers. Keep in mind that they're still factory coils so they will sag relatively shortly so they are not your "end game" solution unless you've got a few sets of them.

Please keep this up to date with pictures and measurements.

I had the tallest springs on my 2014 JKUR and I got a set of 10A JKUR springs from a buddy. With my stock front and rear bumpers it netted me a little over 2" lift. Well worth the $50 i paid. I am also running shock extensions because I put on 2" spacers ontop of those 10A coils a hair over 4" lift total.

Very nice. I doubt very much that the 10A springs will sag anywhere close to regular jk/jku springs.

I will find out soon. Getting ready to install a Warn Elite full width front bumper and a Powerplant HP winch. Will probably need to add 1" spacers to the front coil springs.

They're still made out of the same material and by the same people as other factory coils. The only redeeming quality they *may* have is a significantly higher spring rate to resist fatigue.

We shall see if they sag over time, the price was nothing compared to the cost of aftermarket springs and the width of the coil is much fatter than my current JK springs. I'm also hoping that because they came off of a 4 door, w/ hardtop, and the tow package it makes a difference. Crossing the fingers and will take pictures of the fender/ body to tire clearance while using a tape measure.
