Default Rubicon Express BB Monotube shocks with no Spacer

Hi all,

I currently have the 2" BB lift from RE (the one with monotube shocks). I'm planning to returning it to normal, but i no longer have the original JK shocks.

My question is, does anybody know if i can take the spacers off (2 1/4 front 1 3/4 rear), keep the RE monotube shocks, and still safe to drive?

From what i remembered when installing it, the RE monotube shocks were not to much longer than the OEM.

Advice?

That's what i thought, i want to make sure - better safe than sorry.

Not sure what the spec for 07 X shocks, but i called RE, and here is their spec on the monotube:
front: extend 23.5 / compressed 14.9
rear: extend 23.87 / compressed 14.87

Pull one of your rear shocks and measure it, mine were 26in extended, they were twin tubes though.
