Default Rubicon electronic disco swaybar link length to go with RK 2.5 max kit

Hey yall,

I currently have a 2dr rubicon sitting on 35" with Rock Krawler 2.5 max lift kit.
I need some input on the length of the sway bar links that will be safe to use with electronic disco. Initially, when the installer installed my kit with the link, he had it set where the link would have a slight bend at full droop, saying that the full droop is the max travel and that the slight bend will prevent from the links flipping.
Well, on my first offroading trip, the sway bar link ( on the driver side) flipped on first wheel stuff and became a bow tie. right now, I have teraflex quick disconnect links for quick fix but I am trying to buy longer links to go with the lift kit so that I can use the electronic disco fuction.
Question is... anyone with 2.5 max travel actually using the electronic disco fuction with absolutely no issues with the links flipping? and if so, would you share your link length with me? Also, what brand of links do you recommend? should I go with RK again?
Unfortunately, Teraflex links are fixed and I don't like them. It's almost impossible to disconnect and reconnect.

I have only used the sway bar a couple times since I put the lift in, I will know better next weekend when I go to Rausch for Topless For Tatas... I engaged and disengaged it a few times in the yard trying to flex it a little to check for rubbing issues. I have not had it out on the trail yet. I would call them if I were you, they are very good to deal with. They can tell you how to adjust them right also...

I have a 2dr on 2.5 w 37s and a rubi/eswaybar -got tired of flipping links too and went jks quick disconnects. I leave them on in the easy wheeling when disconnected electronically and can completely take them off in heavy wheeling if necessary

I bent one of my links on the Rubicon a couple weeks ago. RK recomends quick discos on the links I believe. I will probly do that soon. Use quick disconnects on the harder stuff, and the electronic one on milder terrain.

Well, I would like to use electronic disco all the time. It's there so why not use if setup correctly.
Here's a picture of my 2.5 max kit and how the installer set it up when he installed it. Initially, I said to myself, since he told me that this was MAX droop, can't droop any more than this, this angle makes sense... Well, I guess when the jeep articulates with one wheel stuffed and the other fully dropped in an angle, it can droop little more hence my link flipping.
Looking at my angle now, I believe that 3 additional inches on top of the length pictured will work pretty good. It'll give the swaybar+links more of an angle so that the links won't come close to flipping.

I have one my x with electronic disconnect sway bar and the only problem I've had was the top bolt on the link became lost while wheeling and I've been to morris mountain and gray rock. Here is a flex pic with the setup. Also I have the Rough Country rear sway bar links for a 2.5 kit

with the manual disconnected links is there room to swing them up and zip tie them to the sway bar? The lower bolts are drilled for a "hitch pin" from Rock Krawler, but it looks like the passenger side will hit the drag link if you try to swing it up out of the way. The drivers side looks like it will clear with no problem. I havent tried it yet, but Im gonna try tonight. Im gonna take the nuts off the lower links and use the hitch pins. Ive been hearing too much about the links bending so I guess I better act now before its bent lol.... Are they hard to reconnect after wheeling? I understand you should be on level ground, do you have to rock the bumper up or down to connect? Or can you use the Rubicon e-disco so you can move the sway bar up or down to line up? Thanks for your help

You would disconnect the pins and rotate the whole sway bar up, then you'll have plenty of room for the pins to swing up to but make sure you secure them well.

If you have a Rubi the easiest way is to use the electro disconnect to unhook and rehook the links. Very easy no matter how uneven the ground.

im pretty sure you can swing the disconnects after you un-pin them at the bottom but not sure if the sway bar will stay level with the ground because of the weight of the links attached to it.
for me, i think this is too much work, especially if you have a rubicon. I will try to get the links that come with 3.5 inch lift from RK and see if the longer links will work better with the e-discos. BTW, if you manually disconnect, you will not bend the links since it won't be attached to the axle.
