Default Rubi Swabar Motor Relocate?

I could have sworn I read about a proceedure to rotate the electronic swaybar disconnect on the Rubicon up and out of the way to increase clearance and avoid breaking it on stuff. Every search I've done for this has brought up threads about people BREAKING thier swaybars on trails.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

yeah, depending on the bumper you're running, you can flip your swaybar motor up and out of the way. however, i have yet to see a need for this mod.

I'm planning on an Expedition One front. I might just pass on it. Was thinking of doing it while I had my suspension disconnected as part of my TF lift install.

Expedition one bumpers have a optional swaybar disco motor skid that requires you to do the rotate mod.
I just used the Rugged Ridge skid up front that leaves the disco motor in the stock position but I have never come close hitting the skid against anything much less the motor.

Well as high as your dang Jeep sits, you wouldn't need to do it anyway.

Thanks for the link! I plan on doing this when i chop the frame off the nose of my JK. Sway bar motor will have a lot more to contend with after that.
