Replacing all 4 springs will probably give you the same lift all around. To get rid of the rake, you can throw on 1" coil spacers in front and that will do the trick.

usually but i have heard that all these springs are different links so i might end up level all the way around or possible with a 1/2 in rake??? I was just hoping someone had done something similar to this swap.

I've posted these up before but here they are again. Hope they help you. I replaced the stock x springs and shocks (soft top only, no tow package) with shocks and springs from a rubicon unlimited (duel tops and tow package) as well as adding the teraflex leveling kit. I'm real happy with the setup and enjoy the firmer ride. I got between 2 and 2.5 inches out of the install.

As far as the rake is concerned. When you add tow straps, chains, shovels and beer to the back of your jeep. That will level it our perfectly...

Here's my 2dr with JKU Hardtop/Towpackage springs. The back is just the springs. The front has the 2" TF leveling kit spacer. I have about 180lbs of weight on front with bumper and winch. I have around 50lbs on back with bumper. No spare and no backseat ....

Pretty sure the rake on a JK with tow package is always more than without tow package.

What I find strange about the JK is that in order to truely level the vehicle the front wheel well gap will be larger than the rear wheel well gap as shown in my picture. If I put a level on the side step of my JK the bubble is centered.

Default great Idea

I just put the exact same set up on my X to compinsate for the weight of a new winch and bumper. I already had on the TF 2.5" BB and discos before I put on the new rubi springs and shocks. After it was all done it put me back to the original height with the BB plus about an inch even with the extra weight up front. I took some picture while I did the swap and also some before and after pics if you want to see them just let me know. It took about an hour to do the swap by myself.

I'd plan on installing a 1 inch leveling kit. Although not required (since you aren't installing springs that are 3-4" longer than stock like a lift kit) a coil spring compressor will make the job easier. If you can't find any write ups for the rubi spring swap you can go to a site like the Teraflex site to download their spring lift installation instructions and ignore the extra steps.

I think you're going to be pleased with the ride after the swap!
