About to plunge into taller tires, likely 35" on my rubicon with 6spd....can I get buy without a re-gear? Not towing, not rock crawling, just pavement pounding with weekend trailing.

thanks for the comments so far, that is what I was thinking, try it see how it fits my driving style.
Good point about light weight tire package.....I was going to use sahara wheels and 35, but tires are few and pricey.
Thought about 17 and 35, and there are so many choices.
Tempted with the 20s and 35, (ducking) I know many hardcore wheelers don't like that idea. the srt repro wheels are 35 porky pounds,,,im trying to find wheel weight of the oem forged srt wheels.
Mass for mass, the tire is probably less than wheel.
stock rubi tire wheel was 48 and 24
stock sahara tire wheel was 42 and 24ish
Good luck finding a 35 combo under 75 lbs a corner, unless someone is keeping it a secret. Once I find the SRT 20 forged wheel weight I might be on to something.
Not sure, why I care the, aev bumpers and winch are like 3 volupous women right there

I am running stock rubi gears with auto and 35's... Not a speed demon.. but no major issues... I pull a 6X12 from time to time with light loads and everything is ok here as well.

I am pleased with 6spd / 4.10 / 35 set up.
But I ran on 3.21's for a year after I got my tires.
You, on the other hand, might be disappointed after
stepping up from your 32's.

Ditto except for the flashpaq. So far I am not impressed with the reprogram but I have only tried 87 octane and mpg. But more to your question, I may be very similar to you. Same set up and a once a month off roader. Got my current rig off road this past weekend for the first time since getting it in October and doing the usual necessary mods. Totally happy with the off road capabilities too. This '07 Unlimited may prove to be the most all around perfect Jeep of the 4 I have had. For my preferences of course. Mainly, not being a hard core off roader.
