RoughCountry?
Hey, i have a 2010 jeep jk x modle 2door. I was looking at the roughcountry 4'' lift kit or the x series lift kit which is supposed to have more flex but it's twice the price. i was woundering if anyone here has had any good luck with these kits? how they drive, how's handleing afterwards and if they had to buy all the extra stuff with it? I'm brand new to the jeep thing and i love it! oh and if anyone knows a site that has good deals on 35x12.5 tires/wheels? and how do people feel about the stock transfercase on the x-modle jeep do you think with this lift/wheel combo i'd be able to goto the moab? thanks for all your help!!!

For inexpensive 15" wheels, you want 15x8 steel wheels with 4" or 3.75" backspacing. The Cragar Soft 8s are about $43 each at summitracing.com. The Cragar V-5's have 3.75" backspacing and will clear your front calipers without any possible need to shave the front calipers for about $43 each.

I wish I could find a 15" wheel that I liked. I love the look of more beef, but havent found anything to touch the looks of the 17" Pintlers thus far.
Anyway, just typin out loud, good plan you got going it sounds like.

Look at Black Rock 909s.
If you are intent on spending a ton of money on Pintlers & $300 each tires for 17" wheels instead of $200 each tires for 15" wheels, I believe Spyderlock & Walker Evans beadlocks are available in a 15" wheel.
In the end, your intended use matters most. Our family wheels in the rocks, mud, and in springtime, sugary snow that is really hard on wheel finishes. I would not spend money on wheels I didn"t feel comfortable scratching up really well.
I would never run the Pintlers. Almost every time I have wheeled in Moab with guys running Pintlers, they have broken off the tips of their TPMS air stems.

Good choice on the lift kit (Have that as well ) you will be very happy with the quality. Maybe if you upgrade to 35s the Body lift would compliment it...Below are pics of my JK with a 2.5" TF Coil lift w/shocks & 1" body lift on 33s, then later upgraded to 35s...
