Rough country vs. Warn

Rough country vs. Warn
I'm looking into buying a 12,000lb winch for my wrangler unlimited 4dr. I don't really know much about either of the brands so I was wondering if anyone had a preference on which winch to go with

X's 2 on Engo. I purchased as well. Have not used yet but have read very good reviews on them.

lol
are you kidding?!
That's like Geo Metro vs. Ferrari.
I always feel bad for people with Rough Country stickers... like... they are just going to have to pay again to redo it right...
and yes, that's from experience.

There's 2 trains of thought on this. Buy inexpensive and replace when necessary, or spend extra now and maybe not have a problem in the future.
Personally I went inexpensive because it was something I could get sooner, rather than wait much longer for a higher quality winch like a warn. Someday I probably will replace my Smittybilt with Warn, but for now it suits me fine.
That being said, if money was not the primary concern with me I would have gone with a nicer winch to start off with.
