Hey guys so i just bought my first jeep, a 2010 wrangle jk sahara. Ive got a lift im looking at from rough country. Its the 3.5 inch for the 4 door but my question is will that fit on the 2door? Whats the difference between 2 door and 4 door?

i'd assume spring rates.. but im not sure?

Most lifts are the same from 2 door to 4 door besides the coils.

If you were to put those 3.5" coils for a 4 door on a 2 door, chances are they're going to be more like 4" or 4.5" coils.

Though with RC coils, they could turn into 2.5" coils with in a year too.

Any reason why you're set on a RC lift?

Ohhh ok well i found one round edmonton but its for the 4door, whats your take on getting it? Its $500 so not to bad cuz i do t wanna go out spending a crap load on a lift i have a budget id like to stick to.

Im not stuck on RC i just want a 3.5 lift. I found it from a guy in Edmonton thought is give it a shot and do some research on it. I donno any shops in Calgary that would stock a cheap 3.5 for a 2door jk.

And also this is first time thing for me i changed over from imports and racing to lifts and 4x4ing haha.

Rc 3.5 new through rc is 499 why not buy new

4 door jeep is heavier and more weight = less height, the old spring rate compression thing.
The whole "you get what you pay for" really applies to jeep suspensions.

This one is brand new never opened thats the only reason why i took it into consideration. Im gonna call round Calgary tomorrow see if any shops can hook me up with a lift. Any brands i should keep away from?

Rough country, pro comp, bds, ranchero, zone, rubicon express, any lift that does not address steering on a 3.5" lift or includes cam bolts, drop track bar brackets, or drop pitman arms.

Second, there's a reason why ROUGH Country is cheap when compared to other lifts out there. Do you have a link to which lift it is? I'm willing to bet it doesn't include the necessary items to run a 3.5" lift.

Third, with a 2 dr and over 3" of lift you're probably going to need a new front and rear drive shaft.

Suspension parts are not something you want to cheap out on or else you'll be doing it twice.

Why are you lifting your Jeep? For looks? To clear bigger tires for mall crawling? Or for off road performance?
