Is that why they are always missing parts? Haha. Didn't pay enough. Or do the parts just get lost on a container ship somewhere between here and china? Hah.
This missing parts and incorrect parts is what really gives RC a bad name. If they were just crap parts, but always packaged completely and fit the vehicle they were built for, it might not be nearly as bad. But with RC you really can't say ,"Well....You get what ya pay for!" ...Because you don't even get WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Thanks, that was a really great contribution.
After roughly 23 hours of work on that POS lift, it's finally done. Seems to be ok, so far. Not worth the hassle. Looks good though, so we will see, I would definitely advise against getting any RC products simply for the hassle, I haven't had to deal with any other issue yet but let's hope God has mercy on my poor soul after fighting that thing for 23 hours.

I gave you advise earlier in the thread and have done write ups on here to help guide people into make a good decision on lifts, you ignored that advise and of others that said not to get the RC lift and went with peoples recommendations that you wanted to hear to justify buying a cheap lift from a company that puts out incomplete products.
And yea you were given lots of great info but like DM said just wanted people to justify your RC purchase. Not trying to pump his tires but DM has contributed a ton of great write-ups and info, doesn't mean you have to listen to him but he definitely knows his stuff. He answers a lot of (repetitive) questions just to help others not make dumb decisions they'll regret later.

I am sorry, but why would you order a new kit and replacement control arm joints? Just but a kit from a reputable company that uses quality joints. There are 8 joints in that kit that would equal $360 plus that kit uses a drop rear track bar bracket instead of properly raising the axle side bracket. No high steer adjustment is incluede in that kit either and drag link flip kits start at around $400.
So now to properly do that kit with quality joints you are looking at around 2K and don't forget to start saving up for new drive shafts ($700-$1000), at 4" of lift they will go at some point.
For 35" tires a 2.5" lift is more then enough and will not cause you the headaches or cost of a properly done 4" lift.

Have to agree with dirtman! When I was looking for a lift was looking at cost and what the kit included along with reviews of performance. This site has more than enough input on good lifts and where to get them. Glad you go everything going and together but a lot of people told you about this lift.

ROUGH COUNTRY....When you have more time than money.
I look at RC as a roulette wheel in Vegas if you throw your money on black and it comes up red don't be pissed at the casino. The potential issues are well documented in every thread that bears its name. If you are going to play the odds just know that you may have to deal with problems. Now that you have it sorted out you might get years of happy trouble free service and 7 years from now you may think your investment was a great choice. Hope its smooth sailing for you from here on out.
