response from WOL on Project-jk
"hey tyler,
1. if you have an unlimited and a 6-speed, no, you will not need to change your drive shafts even if you have a 4″ lift. I am running this setup now. If you have a 2-door, it is not necessary but you really will want to change out your rear shaft sooner than later as the angle on it will be very steep and will cause your CV boots to wear prematurely. If you have an automatic, you will need to notch out or remove your auto tranny skid plate as it will cause your front driveshaft boot to tear when flexing. Although, an aftermarket u-joint style drive shaft will be narrow enough to clear the skid."
that is a response to a question on Project-JK from wayoflife on the fulltraction 3" lift build.

The after photos look great. Are you running 33" or 32" paws on the after photos with this lift? I am running 32's at the moment and thinking about this lift until I can afford 35's. Your lift does not look like overkill and that Is what I would worry about..

they come out to be 32 and some odd inches, so i like to call them 33's
but I, too, was worried about the lift being too much, as i can't afford 35's at the moment, but it turned out better than i had hoped. I purchased the JKS trackbar from David at Northridge in addition to the kit. Purchased kit direct from RC.

Thanks! I am very happy with the kit and the way it turned out. Now if only the price of 35s come down!
For now i am just using the drop brackets included in the kit, they have worked well so far (only a few days lol) but i may look into the extended brake lines whenever i have the money for 35s (next spring more than likely)
