Rough country
#21
I've put about 15k miles on my series II lift and have had no problems no complaints. The rough country kit was very easy to install and took about 8 hours in the driveway. The kit comes with everything you need including drop pitman arm, front lower control arms, and all the other hardware required to install the kit. I think ride quality is better then stock, not to rough.

Well, it is a long story. The wife did my lift for me while I was deployed, the installer was RC dealer. The installer was pissed because we bought it straight from RC so he gave me wife grief about it. Then he didn't tighten the front track bar frame bolt hole, which caused the dreaded DW. RC tried everything to fix it and they sent me the dual stabilizer and a adj. track bar free of charge. I will have to say RC customer service is top notch.

Sorry to here about the problems. The most important item that needs to be done with the lift kit is making sure that all fastners are torqued as specified. I'm glad that RC work so well with you. Thank you for your service to our country and keeping are freedom alive.

Installed the kit 7 stays ago...
I believe it's a little under 3.5"
The rear is already looking a little tight after some settling.
I may end up adding a spacer for a little extra clearance.
I'm another positive vote for an excellent value for a fairly complete kit.
It's a good place to start if you want to 'build' your jeep but don't have the bank roll of some of these guys.
My plan is to start replacing trac bar, control arms, steering components and gears over time, as life allows, and possibly be ready to upgrade to 37's for my next set of tires. ;-)
