Other than change my oil I've never done anything even remotely mechanical. I put my 2.5 RC on a month ago and it took me about 2 hours. So easy that now I can't wait to do my next mod. The directions it came with worked great and afterwards my Jeep felt like it rode a little softer. Just had my 35's put on yesterday and I love it. I have a slight amount of bump steer which the steering stabilizer should take care of. But even as it sits it's totally bearable.

 

i had my RC lift installed with the 2.2 shocks and a bulkier steering stabalizer. I have no death wobble or alignment issues. My question is to those of you whom have this lift and put 35's on. Do you guys have any rubbing or anything? or any other issues aside from the mileage loss?

 

RC says you can run 35's on the road, but they will rub your fenders hard if you take it offroad.

 

I had to remove the cheapo plastic guard underneath the front end as it touched the tires just a little at full lock. It probably wouldn't have been an issue but I think it looks much better without it anyway. I hope to disco and get on a ramp this weekend to see if I rub that way. I'll post results an pics. From the looks of it I should be fine. BTW my new rims have 4.5 BS.

 

thats pretty much what I have been hearing across the board. So i will either go with 33's or 35's and ad a 1inch body lift.

 

The rims I am gitting have the same back spacing. I would flex your wheels once moderately. Most peopel are saying you get some hard core loud rubbing

 

I have this lift with the shocks ( cant believe people arent getting the shocks, they are GREAT).. and it rides better than stock... wheeled the crap out of it aswell and it flexes great..

What size tires are you running? I can't find anywhere to order the 2.2 shocks without the kit??? All I want is the shocks and on RC's website I can't seem to isolate them from the lift kit.

Not trying to be a smart ass, but why then do the instructions and so many others say to wait until the Jeep in on the gound to attach the sway bar links?
