Default roof rack questions

im looking into getting a roof rack for my jku, just wondering if anyone has any recommendations. i plan on a roof top tent also but would still like some space for storage with the tent up there, any help is appreciated.

I use the MBRP roof rack with optional front extension. I've also added a couple extra bars across the extension for carrying a second spare tire. Don't use an RTT, but rather a basket. The MBRP rack mounts to the hardtop, so when your top is removed (or the softtop is installed), the rack isn't available (you could leave the part of the extension around the windshield frame in place as a light bar, if you choose). It uses support braces inside the hardtop to transfer weight from the rack to the top edge of the tub, so it can carry a whole lot of weight. I did have to modify it to make it compatible with the AEV snorkel.

MBRP: It is nearly a couple grand the way I have mine configured. That includes the front rack extension and basket. Ordered off Amazon and got free shipping.
