Roof rack options for hard top
In the market for roof rack for a 14 JKuS hard top. I need to transport a fishing kayak, possibly need a basket to keep luggage outside of the rig. I only use the hard top when I need the rack. I don't want the gobi setup since I'm not a fan of the look with soft top. Rhino rack mbrp anyone with input greatly appreciated

I've been looking for a rack for my hardtop also but the mbrp and rhino racks are awfully expensive. A while ago I stumbled on a thread here about someone's diy mbrp rack. Search "jk homemade roof rack" ok the Google and it should be the first result titled "homemade roof rack advise needed". I plan on attempting that but with clamps instead of welds. Sorry couldn't help more but thought I would throw that out.

Thanks I need it. Another option is the thule artificial rain gutter system. Some guys swear by it. If you need opinions of the mbrp I know JIMBOX loves to talk about his. I would try reaching out to him.

Have a look at the teraflex NEBO. perfect setup for a daily driven jeep. Low profile for no wind reisistance, takes cross bars like a factory rack so you can add accessories you need, and not a bad price.

I just watched the teraflex channel on YouTube for install of the Nero. Looks like a pain in the a$$. Much more difficult than the rhino rack. As for Yakima or Thule gutter. My kayak weights 130lbs without gear plus anything else I put up there. Maybe looking at a roof tent in future so I might as well be prepared if I can swing it
