Roof Rack

I agree that a rack that requires drilling in the back just doesn't seem right. Of course I am sure the rack designers / MFGs have tried all options but it seems to me there must be a way to create a bracket around the bumper that bolts to existing bolt points - even if it angles out from between the body and the bumper. And for those with after market steel bumpers it seems like it is totally possible. I need to take a welding class!

I bought a Kargo Master basket for mine... I am waiting for them to come out with the frame mounted rack for the JK before I mount it. The sales guy with Kargo said a few weeks ago that they will be coming out with one for the JK in about a month.

the rack was 800 with installation....did not take long for the install....reading about placement on the quarter panel in the rear....yep i kind of freaked when i saw the drill (like going to the dentist) but the section the rear is placed in was pretty firm compared to the rest of the sheetmetal.
the swing back type was a lil loose and did not interest me.
again with this rack you can still slide the top off in the back and the front panels had no problem coming off.

Roof Rack
I emailed offroad logic and got this response:
We are working diligently to meet some deadlines and meet cost in our budget.
No pricing is available at this time.... But both the Steel and Aluminum Billet rack will be over $1000.
