They cut somewhat ez...this was on a side pull and not even that hard of a pull.

Delrin rollers would probably work better than a hawse fairlead for a pull at a less than ideal angle...but also bear in mind that thicker (but more expensive ) aluminum hawse fairleads will provide essentially the same benefits.
