Roller fairlead with rope?
Has anyone ever run Daystars replacement rollers for winch ropes on a roller fairlead?
Thanks,
Mikey

I'm just taking a longshot at this but I would have to think the aluminum fairleads would cause a synthetic recovery line to wear fast than the plastic. Replacing the plastic rollers would be cheaper than replacing a synthetic rope.

I guess I should have explained myself better on these. I already have the Hawse but the Roller would give me better mounting options for a place to mount a front license plate on the Fabfour bumper.
Obviously I dont want to throw on a regular roller using the rope so I wanted to find out if anyone had actually used the Daystar replacement rollers before dropping the dollars on them!
Thanks all,
Mikey

exactly. i use rollers with a synth line and mainly because of it's advantages when doing side pulls. having said that, if you have brand new rollers that have not been used with steel rope, they will be fine with synth and you will not need to replace them.
