Default Rockhard Bolt Head Protectors

Have my skid plates off for some maintenance and the Rockhard supplied bolt head protectors are getting pretty beat up. I would like to buy a few replacements and haven't found anyplace other than Rockhard that sells them. I tried McMaster Carr and no soap. Has anybody out there found the industrial supply house that sells these things????

Thanks for any info, Rub61

It is a really thick washer with a recessed area for the bolt head. And it slopes from the bolt head area to the edge.

Thanks for the picture help. Not real savy on the picture posting options.

Having said that, I'd love to get my hands on a set of replacement and/or upgrades. I have the RockHard engine skid, but there are other bolts that have been taking a whack that could use a little protection.

Have you called RockHard and asked them what the cost is? I have found Lewis to be a reasonable guy and I'm sure he'll treat you fairly.

FWIW I've never seen these available anyplace else. McMaster Carr is usually the best bet but you can also try Grainger and Reid Supply. Fastenall may also be an option to try. There comes a point were it is counterproductive to try to find something for a few cents cheaper.
