Default Rocker rails too long for tire size

Have a 2010 rubicon 4 door with a 4" lift and I want to put bigger tires on but when you look at the wheel well there's plenty of room but it looks like they would end up hitting the rocker rail has anyone had this problem

You need to either trim the rock rails or buy new ones.

yes. I used an angle grinder to cut back some of the sheet metal. I removed the stock rock rails and used a plasma cutter to cut back the rock rails.

Very easy mod. Remove rails, remove plastic end cap. I think I cut around an 1 1/2" from rail. As I recall I marked my cutting location before I removed rail. After cutting rail, trim pinch seam. You'll be good to go.

I have an album on my profile. I cannot post pics from the blackberry today.
