Default Rock Solid Fabs JKuggy

So the next stage of the jk is beginning. I'm taking my jeep to Rock Solid Fabs ( buddy owns it) to have a front ford hp d60 with rcvs, detroit, high steer knuckles, full hydro, and 4 link truss.

The rear will be a 14 bolt with disk brake conversion, detroit and 4 link truss pretty simple.

Then comes the 4 link going to be using Rough Stuff 1.25 monster heim joints and DOM tubing

For suspension he is building custom mounts that will be tied into the cage and will be sporting some 18" travel ORI struts in the front and 16" in the rear.

Last but not least a built 6.0 supercharged 500hp with 4l80e transmission.

Here is what it looks like now

Here is the first pics of the build
14 bolt rear axle

rough stuff 3/8 welded diff cover and caliper mounts

Here is a pick of the axle with all the drums gone. And a set of 35 spine outers for the d60 going in the front. I've decided to save a little money and run stock shafts till I break one

pics from this weekend

We did some diggin in the wiring and found out with the engine computer removed the jeeps BCM is still working and allows the radio, lights, turn signals, ect to function normally. So all we have to wire up are some simple controls, becuase the chevy motor and trans will run off the stand alone harness and bam we are done :shaking:

Just picked this bad boy up. Picking up the front truss this week. Hopefully Ballistic fans wont take 10 years to get me my brackets but I'm not holding my breath.

Here are some more goodies I picked up at BTF
These are all the frame and 4 link brackets we will need. Some sweet looking stuff.

Upper frame mounts

lower axle link mounts will be gusseted more

lower 4 link frame mount yes we are now doing a double triangulated suspension

14 bolt Detroit locker that goes inside the carrier
