Any more body lift rock rail, slider, armor, or step suggestions. I would prefer to go with some type of rail that will also work as a step for the kids...

I didn't see any info anywhere (other than here) that mentioned LoD rails could be ordered for a 1" body lift...I'm bummed.

bumping a old thread...
can't decide on sliders that will go with a 1'' body lift. Not a big fan of body mounted sliders. But would still like some sort of step. I'm kinda short.

the ORE sliders are weld on. they also look amazing and like they'd be incredibly strong. i emailed them to see of they made anything to accommodate a 1"bl and they gave me the obvious answer of:
"Our current version will work fine with a 1" body lift. That is one of
the advantages of a weld on slider, because you can weld them on where ever
you want. Therefore you can weld them on 1" higher than you would without
a body lift. We do not lock you into a certain position like bolt on
sliders do."
damn, wish i would've of considered that before sending the email. i also asked about the possibility of a bolt-on set and they replied:
"We currently have no plans to make these a bolt on version. We build
parts to the level that we feel confident with for our own vehicles, and we
dont not feel that there is a bolt on option designable for the JK that is
sufficient for our needs. Just will not hold up to the abuse that we put
our JK's through."
so there ya have it. i'm definitely going this route. oh, and they're also cheaper than most of the other options
here's how they look on jdredrock's 2dr. it doesn't look like he has a bl, but it shows what they look like
