Default Rock sliders

Sorry to belabor an issue that has probably been addressed before, but I am looking for some sliders that will not bend when used with a Hi-Lift. I know there are many of them on the market, but not sure of the quality of Rugged Ridge, SmittyBilt, etc, as regards being able to use as a jack point.
Anyone have experience with this please respond.

First you need to decide Body mounted or Frame mounted....

I am not sure as to what is best. I just want something that is going to hold up and not be durable.

its a big debate on whats stronger. If made right the body mounts are very strong. Some Frame mounts are just as strong. I dont buy that some of the frame mounted rockers or the ones that are mounted to the body mounting bolts are as strong, but thats just my opinion.

I'm running the Purejeep formed rockers,(tub mount)They do require drilling 1/2" holes in the tub, but are very strong. They mounts through the tub and on the bottom of the tub.

You can use hi-lift jacks with any worries.

Shrockworks,
LOD
EVO make some strong frame mounted rockers

Smittybilts are pretty stout, they have had good reviews for durability and strength. Check out the vendors forum there is a special deal going on for them.

I have not seen Smitty's sliders but if they are as nicely made as their XRC bumpers they may be a good deal. I have the LOD and love them though.

I lifted one side of my JK off the ground using the LōD slider.
It didn't flinch.

The only body mounted RR that can be used as a hilift point is the PureJeep. The best frame mounted RRs are the Offroad Evolution, LOD, and Shrockworks.

I current run the Rugged Ridge RRs. What a POS I'm waiting on the Offroad Evolution RR to arrive next week These are welded on the frame.
