JK Under Armor

I really like everything about this except the $1500 price tag. And that don't include the $300 HD cross member I will need. I will pay if it gives me the protection I need but is there something as good for a more affordable price?

EVO: Bumper/Armor/Skids, ProTeK Skid System for Jeep JK Wranglers by EVO MFG. (years 2012 and up) Only slight problem is I have exhaust spacers which lower the crosspipe. The exhaust skid hugs it pretty close so I had to add 1/2" of spacers to lower that skid plate.

Rock Hard 4x4 is my top pick, great value and we carry them in stock. Send me a pm or call if you have any questions, or for forum member pricing.

How much protection do you "need"?

Wouldn't this depend on the kind of wheeling you do? I don't get on the big, big stuff, so for me, my e-autogrilles engine skid and the factory t-case and fuel tank skid serve me well on my 35" tires and 3.5" of lift.

When I start to wheel a little harder, I'll upgrade it all to Rock Hard.

Look into the clayton skids. I run their crossmember and oil/trans skin. 1/4" thick steel and very affordable compared to everyone else. Great fitment as well

No complaints with my RockHard skids. They've held up and fit great.

I went with JCR. From the pictures I have seen they covered more than hard rock plus I could get them bare metal so they a lot cheaper.

Happy with my rockhard4x4 setup, they fit well, and take a beating. I even bent the tcase skid trying to break a big rock--called rockhard up about their lifetime warranty, and they sent me a new one immediately.

Rockhard! I am very happy with them and they were the best price. Mine are lets just say well used and they are holding up great.
