With 33" tires and flat fenders no lift would be needed and would actually look pretty bad with a 2"-3" lift

Metalcloak or RK I like them both. I went RK.

I decided to not get a Teraflex. I've read of to many sagging and QC issues as of late. As to why. I dunno. I'm prepared to be bombarded by the TF fans...soooo...TF install vids are the best ..And their PR is top notch. See. I said something nice.

Out of curiosity, what made you choose RK over MC? What tipped the scales?

Quite honestly it was a toss up for me. I looked around for a long time. I had met several people with the rock crawler lift and all were very satisfied. My only experience with the metal cloak was via this forum. I found a great buy on a Rock Krawler kit. It was the exact one that I had been looking for. The 2.5 X factor.

It seems that the installation for the metal cloak and the rock krawler both have their complications. I am very satisfied with my purchase. After having the lift on ... I realized the high level of quality was not just gossip. Couldn't be more happy.

I'm trying to decide between rk max travel and the mc arb dual rate. Seems the only difference in what kit comes with is shocks?

Most of my driving is split 50/50 highway and city with the weekend warrior mentality.

If you can swing it I say go with the RK. I like the way the company has made their kits to where you can upgrade them. If I went to a 3 1/2 or 5 1/2 kit I can use my same components. I would only change the coils and the shocks and the brake lines.

The idea of growing as your needs change is an option I appreciate. Good luck on your decision. Be sure and post up some pics.

Any kit is upgradeable, the RK kits are nothing special in that regards so don't use that as a selling point. In fact, one of their kits requires you to buy new lower arms in order to "upgrade".

Honestly all kits can be built on as long as you have adjustability. Again its All he said she said. I can say all the same from my metal cloak arb. To each his own

I dont always drive where others cant. but when I do, its in my Jeep. Stay muddy my friends

The mc is upgrade able as well.

Maybe I'm Leaning more towards the mc because it's laid out more for easier understanding on their sure

I really don't understand how people have such a hard time chosing between these two lifts. They both do the same thing.
