how would the ride be with the entry kit going on the interstate from Florida to Texas with the entry kit? Just wondering if I should wait till I go back home or do it now..this is with the entry kit of course.... and what are the best shocks for this kit... Rock Krawler seems to like the blistens

I have the bilstein 5100's and the ride if as good (or better) than stock.

Wait a bit and get the new shocks RK is coming out with (RRD Racing Shock)..they ride awesome on the street. Going to see how they do on the trails this weekend

I have a similar budget as you do, and similar plans. What I'm going to do is buy the control arms first, then the springs and shocks later. If your shocks are your limiting factor, then you could either spend some cheap coin and buy cheap longer shocks for the interim, or, buy some limiting straps that are adjustable to prevent from destroying your current ones, and again, wait until you can buy the new shocks. I would do the later as you probably already have enough flex to do what you want to do and wont be hindered too much by the straps.
