Default Rock Hard JK Wrangler EVAP Canister Reloacation Bracket issue

I'm riding a 2011 jk 2 dr sport all stock for now.
Anyways I installed the Rock Hard EVAP canister reloacation bracket, and now I notice I have to slow down a lot when going over a dip in the road, otherwise the center of the axle just above the differential cover is bottoming out on it. It's only happened a couple times but I'm surprised I haven't read about this happening to anyone else.

I'm going to put a 2 or 2.5 inch lift in a couple months so I'm hoping this will resolve it. Otherwise I might take saw and sheer off the part where it's hitting....

Has anyone else experienced this bottoming out issue?
