WHOA WHOA WHOA... hopefully you get this before doing any ratchet strapping...

EMAIL the tech support and if their phone number is there CALL them... He will get back to you ASAP. Even on a Sunday. Believe they are a sponsor on this website, PM him your cell. He will call you and work this out. Probably some trick to the trade. He is on PST time so give him a few more hours to wake up and get some coffee.

Will admin the cage is a tight fit but its a fit none the same.

Do yourself a huge favor and DO NOT try to install that cage using ratchet straps or the bolts for the horizontal dash bar. From your photos it's obvious the horizontal dash baryou have is simply too short. That is the issue I struggled with on mine. It helps to trim away the plastic end cap seating ridges on both sides of the dash so the horizontal bars' plates can sit inside the recess and not exert pressure on the dash when you tighten the dash bar bolts down. If you try to force the bars to fit it wil warp the dash and, as in my case, may bow the windshield frame. My dash has a permanent bow in the center, and I now find it is causing the defrost flaps to bind.

Good advice to call RH4x4 and ask for assistance. They shipped me a slightly longer dash bar that is still too short, but made it possible to at least get the product installed.

Yep - we're listening! We're probably one of the most active sponsors on JKF - happy to help.

Couple things to check.

The angle you have on the driver side looks like it's orientated wrong, the collar doesn't look like it'd come down and grab the upright and seat properly. Flip the bar all the way over and see if that lines up better. Make sure you don't have that bar swapped with the overhead bar that runs from driver to passenger side.

It's super rare that it could be nearly a full inch off - these are all built in a fixture but hey, accidents do happen. If we determine that a replacement bar needs to get kicked out in the mail ASAP under your lifetime warranty then no issue. Happy to get it sorted out.

Thanks! I'll try that. I'm digging back into this shortly... Can I call someone to talk this through?

Also if you see DaK on a trail - you owe him an adult beverage. He sent me a ping saying to check your thread.

Rock hard
Sent you a pm. Can we get on the phone together?

The dash bar only goes in one way. As for the orientation. I'm not seeing what your talking about.

Rock hard. I'm 48.5" inside seem to seam. This bar is too short! I have tried everything and have to throw in the towel.

Very disappointed!
