Im assuming that they will fit on either side of the carrier without a problem?

passenger side mount wont work. the mount WILL take out your tail light unless you drill a new stop hole on the carrier swing arm. it swings out too far. drivers side works fine..

there are 3 holes near the top that you can lock the can to.

Thanks for the picture. Good to know. Did you have any problems or anything I should know about before I make the snap?

The right side was literally a 5 minute easy bolt on. I think there might be clearance with the brace and my tire on the driver's side. I have not bought that side yet. There is a write up section post of a member who has both carriers with no problems and he put the Rock Hard trail rack on also. He had to cut down the trail rack rails about 6 inches and weld them to compensate for the higher bumper of the XRC vs. The Rock Hard bumper. It looks great!
