I think this is the answer.
If you will never go bigger than 35s, get the 2.5
If you've ever considered 37s, get the 3.5

To my surprise i do rub when the wheel is turned all the way in either direction. So to run 37's you would need flat flares. But with the 3.5 the 37's will look awesome. Also the pictures above with the 2.5 and 35'' mud grapplers looks more like the 3.5 to me or is the 2.5 with spacers because thats a big flare and tire gap for a 2.5 lift with 35's and a steel bumper with stinger, just sayin.
Good eye; I have a 1" spacer in the front for a future winch. I didn't want to have the REI the front springs again to add it later.

I was talking to David at Northridge 4x4 about it, and he suggested the 2.5" lift for my 35s (with appropriate bump stop extensions) would work with 37s and flat flares in the future (it would be the same bump stop extensions).

Yes you could do the 2.5 with 37s, but of your building for 37s, I would start with a bigger lift. Unless your specifically interested in a very low COG rig.

My two cents

I know none of these are the lifts you are looking at but IMO stay away from the 2.5’ trying to run 35’s

I am running a 4” Rough Country with 18” wheels and 35’s right now I Got tired of the rub witht he stock fenders when wheelin every trip so I put the Smittybilt flat fenders on this weekend. Wheelin it Sunday to see if we got no rub…

2.5” Pro Comp lift BAD news for 35’s and stock Fenders

This little baby rock here

Did this to the rear…

This little incline

Did this to the rear…

4” Rough Country

4” lift and flat fenders waiting to flex this weekend gives you the idea don’t want to bore you…

I just bought the RK 3.5" Mid Arm kit last week from quadratec.
I will be running 35" to start but definitely considering stepping up to 37" in the future.

Good thing MTR's are back-ordered till late next month, sounds like I should be getting my lift in the mail around the same time ;o)

Just gives me more time to buy new toys.

Curious about this: Are the springs the only difference? Or are all the other components different too?

Just wondering if I want to upgrade to 3.5" later on, if all I need is the springs.

I ordered the 2.5" Max Travel. I have 33" wheels, so definitely don't need the 3.5 now, but might need it later if I get 35"+.
